With the realization that education has immense potential to bring about a paradigm shift in the direction of an individual’s strivings, Mithila Public School was established, with a well trained and dedicated team, by our Visionary Mentors Mr R B Jha and Mr U Mishra on February 2, 1989.

It is rightly said: - A leader is one, who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way

That education is the inculcation of humanity in the human mind, is the guiding principle of the MPS Family. We strive to develop in the learners, scientific temper to think clearly and logically, self-esteem to live honourably and courageously and a generous heart to give willingly. They are given to realize that learning is a never-ending process of growth. They are motivated and guided to improve their understanding, for acquiring useful knowledge, such, as will render them assets to the country and blessings to the parents. Lessons are imparted and Examinations are conducted with a proposition that fair sense of virtue, honour, truth, and integrity are added to the knowledge and skills. It is therefore seen and we hope it will be seen in future, too that MPS Pass-outs are sensible enough to value the happiness of not only fellow human beings but also fellow creatures of nature at large.

I feel elated and thankful to our mentors, the people of this Koshi zone in general and guardians of our pupils in particular, CBSE and government agencies and those who overtly or covertly have helped us reach, one after another, benchmarks of success in rendering services to society. Our students above all deserve special thanks for the accolades that have come to MPS. Our dedicated teachers have worked to bring out genius from the child as miners bring out gold from the mines. After completion of thirty-one successful years, we have become even more cognizant of the responsibilities of correcting and improving things that call for immediate attention. Last but not the least my sincerest thanks are due to each and every member of MPS Family and our well-wishers.

With Best Wishes!
